Jewels on Queen is now at Ninbella Gallery in Bangalow, Northern NSW, with a funky collection by outsider jeweller Zuzy Noy.
Featuring fabulous handcrafted silver ‘Sea Creature’ collars, bold brass Bathing Beauty brooches and outrageous one-off silver sunnies set with turquoise, bone and mother of pearl, the collection has its sights set on the North Coast lifestyle.

Noy is an Israeli-born creator who came to Australia in 1986 and worked with Ilaria and Angelo Logi in their Sydney studio during the 1990s. He started his own practice in Surry Hills before settling in Bondi where he now lives and works.
His quirky work sometimes has a gothic note as if hand-forged for mythical royalty. He etches many of his pieces with imaginary calligraphy, sometimes using enamel to achieve a primitive effect. His inventive clasps and invisible hinges give his jewels a magical quality.
Up until recently, Zuzy has flown under the radar but his signature pieces will now be available in the Byron Shire for this special exhibition.
